Wordpress Bugs and New Blogs
Whether you have created a blog on Wordpress five years ago or had just came out with a new blog, some of the time you will run into “snafoos” when readers are viewing your work. In my recent and personal experience, I have had my post entitled, “Do 90 Day Challenges Actually Work?” as the latest post. When in fact, four posts have been added since the entitled, (equalling an estimated month’s amount of time) I find frustrations have been running rampid between myself and other bloggers on Wordpress regarding a variety of issues or bugs. So, you’re probably thinking, “Aside from your concrete arguement, Jennifer, what, pretell, will support this argument of Wordpress bugs?” Since collecting my own concrete proof is not enough for some, I have done research on recent complaints regarding the usage Wordpress and some of them are a bit ugly.
In a paraphrasable description, a fellow blogger has run into a problem with Wordpress allegedly removing two of his posts. He attempted to notify Wordpress about this issue and the only response was to file a complaint. You can view his post in the provided citation: “Scraped! DMCA Complaints and WordPress” written by, Steve (a.k.a.) szstevo, April 14th 2009 3:19 AM. http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/scraped-dmca-complaints-and-wordpress
Knowing full well that hosting options (internally or externally) can provide a great domain experience, there are possiblities that having your blog hosted outside of the platform (i.e. Wordpress) may cause problems with your posts or the roll out of your posts. Keeping this in mind, and according to the post given in the citation, when the said platform or “provider” in this area cannot provide a legitimate way to file a complaint or even merely submit a support ticket, the platform relieves themselves of having any responsibility at all when it comes to its users. In turn, the user count may drop drastically as a result of the said platform’s neglagence to incur the necessary responsibilities they acquired on the date of launch. Some may see this post and its contents as a threat, but only those who consider themselves leaders can only decide for themselves how responsible they want to be. As users, we are constantly reminding these said leaders of the need to improve via feedback, and at times, posts.
December 2009 30 Day Challenge Week 2 This week has been a mix of schedule mishaps, organizing my personal space, and over-coming the feeling of “giving up”. Over coming obstacles sounds very simple to do and we often say we can, but do we really ever? Watch this week’s challenge unfold… Day 8 & 9 Day 10 Day 10 [...] […]
As of December 1st, 2009, I began a challenge with the goal of helping myself and others who watch me to become more organized in general. Most of what I personally need organized includes my schedule and data storage. I may come across other things during my challenge that need organizing. With that said, this [...] […]

The infertile parents are worried about how “special” their baby will be. However, do you think it’s right that the “beggers are choosers” or that the institutions support biggotry? Hmm, Let’s look at a blog post here: “Do we want to have a society where parents can flip through a DNA catalogue and design their own [...] […]
When you look at a professional's messages a little closer, you might wonder to yourself, "Is this a competitive marketing tactic? Are these people who they say they are? How will I succeed if and when I join them?" or "Will their product/service hold the quality the business owner claims it to?" […]
